It derives from an alteration of the microcirculation which involves an increase in the synthesis of adipocytes and the accumulation of large amounts of triglycerides. This leads to an increase in the volume of cells and peri lobular connective tissue. When the cells have large accumulations of fat, the appearance of the skin surface is uneven, especially in the thighs and buttocks. All the substances that mobilize fats and break the long chain of fatty acids have an anti-cellulite action.
Carnitine occurs naturally in the body and its main function is to mobilize fat deposits directed to the mitochondrial matrix where they are burned and converted into energy. This mechanism breaks down the accumulations of fat and is known as “lipolysis”.
It is also known as a catabolism promoter that helps detoxify, regenerate, repair and restore the cellular physiological functions of the dermis.
